In this sweeping and synthesizing work Professor Omeljan Pritsak charts the influence of Western European, Arabic, Khazaro-Bulgarian, and, later, Byzantine metrological and numismatic systems on the development of these systems in Kyivan Rus'. Beginning with a survey of the weights and monetary systems extant in Eurasia in the 7th to 11th centuries, Pritsak goes on to solve many of the fundamental problems that have existed for over a century in the study of Old Rus' metrology and numismatics. Many of Pritsak's conclusions challenge conventional theories in this field. Students of the history of Rus' and numismatists in general will find this to be the most thoroughly researched and documented English-language study of the subject to date.

I’d forgive the authors if those mistakes had not cost me so much time to discover. He has a thing for the driver of the steam locomotive in town. All in all this is a great book if your into the Japanese animation and art world. This may be the best book I know on how films are actually made. Copyrighted in 2004, it contains chapters covering most of the processes that you need to know. Many people don't believe it's possible to find this kind of happiness in their work, to be able to successfully run a passion-filled, value-based business, but this book will light the path and prove it to them.. And that's it.
It's definitely an inspiring reading, but it's not really meant for civilians :). Also, the reviewers should consider that it is part of the Living Lights collection of Berenstain Bear books which tend to promote biblical themes.
