She's also very stubborn and strong-willed (which has been good in helping her survive all her heart/health issues). I bought this book because it was a part of a series, and I love time travel books. And it seems to me that in his first book and the subsequent ones, VW was hawking Benjamin Moore? Did Pittsburgh Paints come up with more money?
A huge disappointment and totally uninformative. The beauty and grace of the female form.. That struggle is clearly illuminated here and that struggle is what makes this time period a favorite for historical fiction. After 17 years as an EMT I put this book at #1 on my EMS reading list. She fights with every ounce of being she has.
