Very comprehensive, detailed book. I'm only on page 27 and so far Ms. It starts with the basics and goes onto explain the advanced algorithms used in design automation. But, advanced readers may find some topics (especially, formal methods) missing in this book.. From a text standpoint, Wolf's past books have had a clearly defined, easy to follow text with clear and concise references to accompanying photographs as well as captions for most (if not all) photographs featured. I bought this as a stocking stuffer but it was so good I had to read the whole thing before I wrapped it. Clean anger doesn't fight dirty - but it's not always 100 percent squeaky clean." pg 142
