Seeing Gavin encounter each amazing new invention adds another level of delight to the story. The seller was great. Excellent source for academic assessments. However, oddly enough,several photographs are blurry, blown out or out of focus. I know, that's because they're all suspects, blah-blah, the minimal amount of development may also be Shepard's strategy throughout this book. Couldn't even read to the very endas I lost all hope!
I like well written books. Of course, I am somewhat biased in my opinion of this memoir since Michael Bliss’ memories are similar to many of mine! I also grew up in Kingsville, Ontario in the 1950’s and 60’s and knew Michael as an older student at my school. Love it!
Btw, all of the pictures in this book can be found on the Internet, so just buy it for collection if u really want =)). Love it. He initially built his own equiptment by hand because his research had outpaced the available technology. It's not a shop manual, but it's
