In the end, this work's highest value may lie in its contribution to the development of this critical but still largely ignored point.. So when I saw that they had republished it with full-color illustrations I had to buy another copy. We all knew the research contribution made by the authors, now we should thank them for writing such a wonderful book.. A lot of ideas for allies and adversaries in this book and one I recommend to anyone wanting to go in depth in a Scarred Lands Campaign. It is moderately helpful but is hard to follow. Absolutely recommended (and a great combination with the Knowing Your Shadow audio series, also by Sounds True).. From a written content standpoint, I am at a bit of a loss. If you don't mind the conflict that their lying causes, this is a good book.. The miniscule pictures at the back are useless and are there just to support the endorsement of this book by Pittsburgh Paints.
