Brax is kind and loving. Highly recommended.. I actually got to meet some Muscovy ducks in the town! A true story.. Felt a little early 1900’s but it is a modern day romance. "Rivers of Empire" is one of them, and must reading for anyone who seeks to understand the history of this critical region of the United States.
Donald Worster, Hall Distinguished Professor of American History at the University of Kansas, has been producing outstanding history of the American West and environmentalism for more than a quarter century. Excellent Book, very good content, I would use another font for the text!. I obviously didn't read it then. Ryan is sardonic, snobby and smug. I've come to like the little bear, I'm just not as fond of this book.
