Now in its second edition, Industrial Control Electronics continues to provide readers with an extraordinarily comprehensive understanding of instrumentation, process control, and servomechanisms - all in a single volume! In addition to detailed discussion of modern components, circuits, devices and control techniques used in today's industrial automated systems, this edition features two all-new chapters on DC and AC variable speed drives plus a generic approach to PLCs that employs the Allen-Bradley SLC-500 as a sample. As in the first edition, the book begins with an overview of the control loop while subsequent sections allow readers to explore individual elements of the loop in depth. This logical organization allows the book to be used effectively in a variety of programs, including: Electromechanical Technology, Instrumentation (Process Control) Technology, Automated Manufacturing Systems (AMS), Electronics Technology, and Industrial Maintenance.

After that, it goes on to things like lathes and mills.
I come from a white-collar family, so this helped me overcome the handicap of my background. It hasn't. This book is the standard textbook used by many VO-TECH schools and is well worth the price. Very good condition.. It's an excellent resource.. Lots of good information and projects. It is a website that has tutorials for all kinds of software. Wolf dares to be different.
"The Four Elements of Design" shares with us Vicente Wolf's spiritual consciousness as an integral part of his approach to design. I first read this book in my local library, and liked it so much I bought a copy (used, but still). Several references regarding cutting feeds and speeds to hardness conversions are found in the back. Highly recommend. Lovely book with lots of informationwish I would have bought the hardbound book instead of the kindle edition as I would like to see larger images. I"M CURRENTLY WORKING THROUGH THIS BOOK AND IT
