Believing in Love is the true story of a love affair told in journal entries, poetry and prayer. In language both sensual and spiritual, author and psychotherapist Elizabeth Stamper shares an intimate journey into the new frontier of sacred partnership and offers insights into how to achieve the kind of intimacy that we’ve been seeking for generations.
As love brings up our deepest fears, to go into relationship at all and to risk truly revealing our self to another takes great courage, trust and rigorous self-honesty. And yet, the more we take that risk, the greater potential for healing growth and deep love even if and when a relationship “ends.” Believing in Love reminds us that “To learn to express our angel souls through our human hearts and minds and bodies is to find the freedom we long for and know the ecstasy for which we were created. And this is the gift, the challenge and the spiritual potential of all our relationships.”

Kevin says in this book that seeing angels is just the start, its putting them to work is what it is all about.
I am a person that loves stories amongst revelation and teaching. I really like the way the book helps the reader understand why she chooses Jacoby and not Grey. Martin is charged with steering because an undercover cop asked him if he knew where he could get some drugs and Martin pointed to the drug dealers corner.Martin is locked up and keeps thinking about his family that needs him like his mother and his sisters, his father is in prison as well so Martin was the man of the house trying to protect the family even though he didn't have a job. Human trafficking is a real and terrifying situation that happens to thousands of woman every year. Lecia Balian has stayed true to her mother, Lorna's, original illustrations, she has just put in lush color, which gives a much richer, Irish countryside feel to the book. This is one of my favorite books in the Jungian canon.
