They don't shy away from drinking, however and except for the drinking, this is milder than many of the recent young adult novels I've read. It is hardly the ultimate diet counter.
I would not recommend this book to anyone.. The book was a quick read.
On a side note - all royalties collected from this book go to Alzheimer's research - so you might as well get something interesting to read while making a donation.. No other sight reading and rudiment book I've ever used has the perfection of this book. Ancient Egypt first engaged in this type of civilization, and became a dominant power in the process.
